Catherine was the Opening Ceremony speaker for RubyConf 2023, opening for Yukihiro Matsumoto, the chief designer of the Ruby programming language. As a technical writer, she is valued for tackling complex topics with an approachable and memorable flair, such as how to solve a binary search tree problem with JavaScript.
